Greetings :-)

Greetings to everybody who has continuously been visiting my blog in my absence. Greetings to those as well who stumbled upon my blog once or twice, by accident, by chance or by will. I was away for almost 2 weeks and had started missing it all. Actually i was attacked by a dreadful cough that has still not spared me, but i am 95% fine now.

8 days long dose of anti-biotics, more than a dozen Strepsils, similar number of vitamin c tablets, a bottle of cough syrup, a few cups of homemade 'qehav' and a few sachets of Johar Joshanda seem to have finally worked. Maybe if i had not missed out on the gargles, as advised by many family members as well as the doctor, i would have gotten better sooner.

But whatever state i may be in right now, i am here. Will take a couple of days to get back in the groove but i am sure i will be able to do it quickly.

Keep visiting you all! ;-)

Assalam-o-Alikum,

After a long time, I am reading your blog and I guess for the first time I am writing any comment. This comment is after reading couple of blogs. Good to see that you feel things happening around you and respond them in best possible way according to your knowledge and understanding. I really appreciate that. Otherwise there are many people who just act as dumb machine and their concern is just with their own bread and butter.. and their attitude is we don’t care.

There are couple of things I would like to say according to my little knowledge and experience. Your intentions are good and you think positively and these are the basics or you can say the foundation for any big achievement. In Punjabi there is a saying "Neyata Noo Murada" means Good intentions leads to destiny.

Being a manager of small or mid Size Company is a good thing and one should be gratified to Allah (SWT) for this blessing. But important thing is one should have BIG scope. When Imran Khan was very young and plays with other boys in Lahore. He found them better in technique but the only difference was Scope. Imran had a big scope in front of him and he put effort based on that. One should be dutiful, loyal to its organization and kind towards subordinates. But this doesn’t mean to do work of others and sitting late hours.

This is a complex equation but core variables and which should affect the resultant are you, your family and your priorities. Other everything is very minute and insignificant. Yes you are right, present is present and one should take of his/her present. Past is good to learn lessons, human is human and makes mistake. Present is also important because this is the time you have to plan for your bright future and one should ponder on it very seriously. Allah (SWT) forgives and likes forgiving and has big rewards for them who forgive. But when you are a manager then one should take care of his/her attitude. Because subordinates should not misuse forgiving nature.

Thank you,

Salman.

@anonymous

Don't worry. You will always be the 'default' anonymous comment poster on my blog. Nobody can take your place. ;-) hehe Besides, the 'other' anonymous mentioned his name at the end of the comment so no confusion there.

@Kashif

Thanks for the wishes. And thanks for posting the link of your blog on request of anonymous.

@Salman

Your first ever comment on my blog is welcome.

Good to know that you could see through and locate my good intentions. I truly hope and pray that may Allah lead me to even greater things and make my destiny worthwhile.

My complex equation consists of my priorities and those in order include my family, my friends, people around me (colleagues, team members, acquaintances), my work, my other interests in life. As always i do try to strike a balance between all of them. Sometimes i succeed and sometimes fail. But most importantly, i never stop trying.

It is hard to change a forgiving nature. I guess it is more of a responsibility of others to not to try to exploit it. Because the nature may not change, but undue exploitation may leave bad marks on the heart and soul. We are only humans.
