Happy Birthday Dear Quaid e Azam
We wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY. However, we are sorry that we never actually considered you "Quaid e Azam", otherwise we would have adhered to every word you had said. We hope and pray that maybe some day Allah will bestow upon us all the necessary enlightenment. Only then we would be able to realise the meaning behind your words, and act upon them.
Yours truly,

But one thing i always forget during an eclipse is to see it from beginning till end and keep taking pictures of the various stages. I am planning to do this during the next eclipse so that i can make a collage of all those moon pictures.
I wonder when "IS" the next lunar eclipse. Better go check the NASA calender. :-)

3 Annoying Things About Firefox 6
1. In the “older” version whenever I right-clicked a link, the option “Open Link in New Window” would be at the top; and “Open Link in New Tab” would come right after it. Not in the “new” version their order is revered. So now unintentionally I am opening my links in new windows (due to the habit of selecting the second link on the pop up menu) when I actually want them to open in new tabs. That’s a pain!
2. The “older” version used to consume about 200,000K of my memory in addition to the same chunk consumed by the “plugin-container.exe”; making it a grand total of 400,000K plus of memory consumed just by a browser. And I used to feel it slowed down my PC. Now in this “new” version, both the browser the plugin-container.exe consume 100,000K each more memory; bringing my total to 600,000K. Crap! Now my PC is slower than ever!
3. The “Reload” (or refresh) button used to sit nicely on the left hand side of the address bar in the “older” version. I always preferred that location for the Reload/Refresh button. I hated it when Internet Explorer moved it to a tiny spot right after the address bar. Seems Firefox also got inspired by that and has shifted this button to the same location as in IE. Now every time I need to refresh a page, I have to look for that darn button for a couple of seconds, before I can hit it. This even more annoying than the Annoying Orange!
I know I will get used to these changes too and there will come a day when I wouldn’t even remember this dilemma. But for now I am in a fix and temporarily regretting my decision to upgrade.
Firefox people, could you send me one of the cute fox cubs you used to show on the live cams to take my pain away, please! *bats eyelashes while making an angel face*

Tale of FBISE and the Online Result Inquiry
Tale of FBISE and the Online Result Inquiry
I wish that FBISE takes some measures to improve the performance of their result inquiry web site. If they need someone to test it, i would be happy to help.

Sometimes: Music to the Rescue
Sometimes I listen to the music on full blast just to suppress an ocean of “noise” raging inside. Music does temporarily rescue me till the “next” time.

I Think: Why Are There Indexes?
Have you ever wondered why are there indexes and glossaries; tags and bookmarks; references and pointers? I think they are there so that we can go back to the good (marked) stuff again and again. These “markers” are little helpers that show us the way when we forget the path.

23 March – Then and Now: As I Remember It and As I Want It To Be
Apart from watching this march past, I remember having a warm and exciting feeling on that day. I used to feel so proud of the armed forces. I used to feel so elevated about my country Pakistan. I used to be beaming with pride and energy on that day; and had loads and loads of pure happy feelings and good vibes.
Now (for the past few years) the only happiness I get from 23 March is that it is a holiday. The pride for the armed forces has left my heart completely. That loving warm feeling has been replaced by extreme hatred and anger (yes for the armed forces). I am no longer bothered if there is going to be a march past or not. And even if there was one, I wouldn’t be bothered to see it even for a minute. I can only think of the sufferings of my country men and think of ways to be able to help. I think how the army has destroyed its image in the eyes of most Pakistani people and wonder if it would ever regain its glory. I also think of the high class leaders in whose hands the fate of my country rocks. I wonder if we would ever be able to get rid of them. All the TV programs blurting out national anthems and talking of the glory of this day feel only like eyewash for the masses. It seems like the media is ticking one more event off its list of coverage. Everything seems so artificial.
I long for my childhood-like 23 March to return where feelings were pure, pride for the armed forces was in our hearts, TV programs commemorating this day actually had a message to deliver, and most of all everybody was proud to be a Pakistani and optimism was in the air.

Made for Each Other
Made for Each Other Originally uploaded by Monazza Talha
Walking hand in hand side by side, they looked not like two but one. Facing hardships of life, yet making each others' life wonderful by being there for each other. Filling each others' gaps with qualities of their own, they kept complimenting each other. Trundling along that path was immensely amazing only because they were together. They didn’t care about the blisters in their feet as they could tend to each others’. Being one was because of their selfless affection which turned into their strength. Enlightened by this truth they progressed, never leaving each other behind. They were unaware of the destination towards which they advanced. But they knew deep in their hearts that it didn’t matter where their path ended. They were immersed in each others' generous love so much so as to notice the surroundings and the hardships.
They were destined to be together forever. They were made for each other.

Hey MSN Bug, Bug Off
I have still been pretty lazy to Google to see what it actually is but i am kind of annoyed at this. There have been loads and loads (and tons and loads) of the "Unresponsive Scrip" errors like the one below, but this "crash error" (as i call it) is just too much:
I wonder what Microsoft people are doing that is causing this. Or maybe its the clash of the technology giants where one is being un-supportive of the technology of the other (i am seeing these errors in Firefox). Not having any insider sources at any of the mentioned organizations, I guess I will HAVE to Google stuff now to find out. *giggles*
Is anyone else facing the same fate as myself? Which browsers? Do tell. :-)
